My hands smell like bleach.
When I listen to Radiohead, I feel intellectual.
And when I eat an apple, I feel like I've just run a marathon.

Incubus and Social D: two concerts I've been to recently.
Incubus is wonderful live first and foremost. Dan and I got to red rocks around noon or noon-thirty and found a primo parking space near the east stairs to find the place was already hoppin' with college students. We ended up getting row 25....maybe it was 27.
Simon Dawes opened for them. They were AIGHT but nothing I would stay with.
I was too stupid to bring a camera and have no pictures from the night. I guess that's the end of that.
As for Social D, they played The Big Gig with the following bands:
Tickle Me Pink: I didn't see them so I can't comment
Single File: I liked the way they interacted with the crowd a lot. They're a local band. The music was only okay and I thought it all sounded the same. Bruce got a picture with the lead singer.
Jack's Mannequin: I was very impressed with them. They put on an awesome show and I'm not huge on their tunes but the performance made up for it. The pianist/singer got way into it.
Motion City Soundtrack: The music was not that great, but I wouldve enjoyed the show more if it weren't for the lead singer being such an idiot. If you've ever watched Blink 182 play live, it was kind of like that. The guy was making fart jokes and cursing into the mic trying to be cool. Although I do have to make one positive comment: the keyboardist was banging his head and dancing around, it was amazing. I like to see a member of a band enjoying what they're doing instead of a guy just standing there. Good job, dude!
Plain White Tees: Also impressive. Just had a great sound live. I tried to record the song "Hey there Delilah" and Dan kept putting his water bottle in front of my camera, ugh :(
Blue October: Great energy, also had a great sound live. I am now a bigger fan of them than I was before.
Social D was great but the crowd was AWEFUL!! A bad crowd can really ruin a good show, and these people were just not into it. I saw a lot of standing and not a lot of dancing or jumping or anything like that. Well, I did for Ball and Chain, but that's expected as it was a huge hit for them. Mike had a story to tell after almost every song and it tied into the next song. I like it when bands talk to the crowd, just so long as it's not about politics or fart jokes.
Also I got a Social D shirt with a pin up girl on it. Bruce got one with two hula dancers.
First of all, SMASHING PUMPKINS AT RED ROCKS
OH MY GOD!!!
But on a much more serious note, The tree in my front yard is to lose it's place within the next thirty days.
Appearantly it's half dead, and according to the city that's a problem, so we got a notice that we have to remove it within one month or we get a huge fine.
I am very sad about it :( Goodbye, friend.
I dont know why, either. Maybe because I finally caught up with a few years of missed Degrassi episodes, and it's gone totally downhill from what I remember. Like Rick freakin' shooting the school up, and Manny's eating disorder. And JT DYING! NO!
And maybe something else. I forget.
Anydamnwhos, I have a lot to say about life.
Well, drums are going really well. My speed and everything are totally improving. Good news, indeed. Drums are definately my instrument- guitar was definately not. I bought mores stick and a cowbell today.
Because it had extreme highs and lows.
First and foremost, my car was STOLEN last night. Can you believe that?
Who steals a 95 Saturn out of someone's driveway?
I mean geez, at least steal a nice car if you're going to even steal a car at all.
A self reflection by K.M.Cherven
Sometimes you get into a blue mood and you feel that the most comforting thing to do is saturate yourself with the water of murky, cold music.
Father of the Bride is such a sad movie.
In fact it's horribly depressing
It almost makes me not want to get married.
